Posi Lock Installed
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/home-made-posi-lock-write-up-595515/
I installed a home made posi lock to replace the vacuum lock that comes with it. It is much more reliable and works much better. The jeep locks in to 4wd with the pull of a cord and I have 2 wheel low to which is nice in certain situations.

Tires
Put 31 inch BF Goodrich All Terrain KO's on the jeep its got a good look. Gives is some more clearance, and grip. The only negative is that it rubs just a little at full turn either direction, but you really don't need to turn it that far for anything.

Rebuilt The Front End
I did a total rebuild on my front end the last two weeks. My buddy David came up and I used Tim, and Jordan's one car garage used a couple of A/C Delco jack stands and used a Stanley socket set. Theoretically this is all you need to do the job. After braking two sockets and a beaker bar I quickly learned an impact wrench is needed and picked one up at Auto Zone for $50.00 bucks. I am happy I did because it made the entire job easy. I used Randy's Ring and Pinion who were not knowledgeable on the Dana 30 at all. I asked for everything I would need to do a total rebuild, and received all but three parts. The Master Rebuild Kit cost 106.00, the Yukon Gears were 139.29, the Yukon Ring and Pinion was 54.20, the rebuild kit did not have an outer seal, but had two inner seals instead, it was 14.00, and the U Joints were 54.20, they were to big so they sent me the right two for free. They left out the Disconnect bushing and sent me the wrong part twice; I finally got the right Bushing from the Dodge Dealership for 20.00. The hardest part of the rebuild is replacing the bearings and race ways and putting the seals in. To do the race ways we used the hack handle and a big hammer. We just knocked the bearings off with the hammer and used a pice of wood to knock them back on. To do the seals we used a heavy duty all thread, two bolts, and a washer large enough to put it up to the seal and hammer the end of the all thread to knock it out and put it in. Get the longest all thread you can find. Everything else's was just bolt on. I also replaced my vacuum selector switch on my transfer case for 14.00. All this and still no 4WD, thats okay because I am going to put a manual engage in it instead of keeping the vacuum set up that comes with it. All together it was 397.49, Randy's Ring and Pinion refunded me 100 which makes it 297.49. Oh yea, I got a U Joint for the drive shaft at O riley's for 20.00 which brings it up to 317.00 probably spent a couple of hundred on my help buying them food and beer, along with tools here and there. If I had all the parts a one day job maybe two, but it took me much longer because of the 20.00 bushing.

These sights will help you with it a lot, used zip lock bags and labeled everything that came out of the jeep; what it was and where it came from made reassembly a synch. Easy job could do it again now that I have done it in a day for sure.

Clutch went out today
I had some clutch issues today. Got in the jeep to go to school and I had no clutch at all. I replaced the slave cylinder for $69.99 at Advanced Auto, still no clutch. Replaced the master cylinder at O'riley Auto for $39.99 bleed the clutch, and wow what a difference it is going strong again. $110.00, and a very easy fix.
