Mountain and Mud

I have had it down the side of a mountain and I did not think it would be coming back up. It did after gasing the shit out of it in four low.

Also got it in a mud hole, it wound up being a small pond I did not know this till I was half way through it. It made it through fine four low is a beast.

Radio

Put in a new radio from wallmart for $50 and two new speakers for the sound board $25 sounds good, has an auxiliary plug for my ipod and an usb charger for my iphone. Good buy for a jeep cheep and lots of extras. Also it is loud you can hear it top off and any speed. I plan on putting in two more 6x9s also in the future.

Radiator

The radiator in 1995 jeep wranglers are plastic. I learned this when my belt came off and I cracked it. I took a trip to the parts store and $150 latter I had a metal radiator with a life time warranty. Easy job took about an hour.

Manifold Bolt

I bought a manifold gasket for $16 and it took be about four hours to brake it down and put it back together. I could not remove the broken bolt with a ezout this tool suck wast of three more hours and $10. I had to put it back together with out the back bolt. It did not even have an gasket in it so it sounded much better. I decided not to torque the bolts and tighten them as tight as posable because of the missing bolt. It worked like an charm no leak to be found. I was nervous about this so I went to a mechanic he tested it for leaks and said it looked good to him. He also said that a water line runs through the block by that bolt and it would be more work than it was worth to drill it out and replace the bolt. He added that it could not burn out a valve because the bolt that was missing would just release the exhaust in the air and not into one of the intake manifold ports thus not interfering with any valves. As of now no leaks, a ton quieter, and better gas millage.

Turn Signal

The bad news is that you have to buy the turn signal from the dodge dealership. I could not find an aftermarket version anywhere and I looked every where the stem was $30, and the switch its self was $140. The work was easy enough it has a G.M. steering column so it has a lock plate. I rented a steering wheel puller, and lock plate puller from auto zone. I took me about two hours not to bad.
